DHAKA, Aug 13, 2026 (BSS) – The office bearers of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB), led by its newly elected President, Mohammad Shahajahan called on Masud Khan, Chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) at his office in the capital’s Sher-E-Bangla Nagar area.
President of ICSB introduced the delegation team of ICSB to the Chairman and apprised him about the activities that ICSB undertook for professional development of its members as well as its future plans.
The office bearers of ICSB also paid a courtesy call on Hossain Sadat, Commissioner of BSEC. On behalf of the delegation, the President of ICSB congratulated him on assuming the office of the Commissioner of BSEC.
The BSEC Chairman gave a patient hearing to the delegation and appreciated the role of ICSB in promoting professionalism and development of the Company Secretaries profession in the country.
He expressed the hope that, through various initiatives of BSEC, good corporate governance would be further strengthened in the corporate sector of Bangladesh. He also assured the visiting ICSB team about his comprehensive support for the institute.
The delegation of ICSB thanked the BSEC Chairman for allocating his valuable time and hoped that his continued support and guidance will help the Institute to move forward in achieving its objectives.
Senior Vice President Md. Rafiqul Islam, Vice President Md. Sharif Hasan, Treasurer Md. Mizanur Rahman, Secretary and Chief Executive Officer Md. Shabbirul Alam Chowdhury were also present.
