DHAKA, Aug 13, 2026 (BSS) – Bangladesh showcased its growing apparel manufacturing capabilities and product diversity at ‘Sourcing at MAGIC 2026’, one of North America’s leading fashion sourcing trade fairs, with the country’s pavilion drawing significant attention from global buyers and industry stakeholders.

The three-day exhibition was held from August 10 to 12 at the Las Vegas Trade Center in Nevada, the United States, said a press release here today.

With financial support from the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and overall coordination by the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Los Angeles, 20 leading Bangladeshi apparel and textile companies participated in the fair with 21 booths.

‘Sourcing at MAGIC’ is an internationally recognised platform connecting apparel manufacturers, textile and fabric suppliers, buyers, brands and designers.

The event is considered an important gateway to the US market and global sourcing opportunities.

Exhibitors from 24 countries, including Bangladesh, China, Vietnam and the United States, participated in this year’s event, featuring more than 800 booths.

Around 8,500 visitors from 70 countries attended the three-day fair, with more than 73 percent comprising high-level buyers and industry decision-makers.

Bangladeshi exhibitors highlighted the country’s growing capabilities and competitive advantages in the global apparel market.

The Bangladesh Pavilion showcased a diverse range of products, including knitwear, woven garments, casual wear, cotton shirts, premium denim, specialised washed products and high-margin formalwear.

During the fair, Bangladeshi exporters held a large number of business-to-business (B2B) meetings and trade discussions with international buyers.

The meetings generated substantial business inquiries and opened up prospects for securing new export orders.

Industry stakeholders said Bangladesh’s participation demonstrated the country’s readiness to adapt to changing global fashion trends and evolving sourcing requirements.

They expressed hope that the participation would help increase the visibility of Bangladeshi apparel products in the US market, diversify export destinations and further strengthen Bangladesh’s position as a reliable global sourcing hub.
