DHAKA, Aug 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh is set to strengthen its presence in the global textile and apparel market as 17 Bangladeshi companies will participate in Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris 2026, scheduled to be held on August 31 and September 1 at Paris Le Bourget.
The 59th edition of the premier international trade fair for the textile, apparel and leather industries will bring together around 1,300 manufacturers from approximately 35 countries, providing international buyers with a wide range of fabrics, apparel, accessories and innovative textile solutions, said a press release.
The exhibition will bring together major sourcing markets, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, China, India, Turkiye, Myanmar, South Korea, Japan and Italy.
Bangladesh, the world's second-largest sourcing hub for finished apparel after China, will participate with companies representing various segments of its textile and apparel industry.
Hoorain High Tech (HTF), NZ Denim and NZ Fabric will participate in the Texworld section, while Nexgen Apparel and H&F Fashion will participate in Apparel Sourcing.
Besides, 12 Bangladeshi companies will participate under the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Pavilion.
They are Comoda Garments, Skylark Knit Composite, Norban Comtex, Warptex, BNM Garments Industry, Fabitex Industries, DK Textile, Fabrica Knit Composite, Ducati Apparels, Corus Fashion, Bengal Glory and SIM Fabrics.
The participation is expected to provide Bangladeshi companies with opportunities to showcase their products, establish business links with international buyers and explore new sourcing and export opportunities.
The event will also enable Bangladeshi exhibitors to strengthen their engagement with global textile and apparel markets and promote the country's capabilities in manufacturing and sourcing.
