DHAKA, Aug 12, 2026 (BSS) - A high-level delegation of Visa, led by its Asia Pacific President Stephen Karpin, today held a meeting with Bangladesh Bank 
(BB) Governor Md Mostaqur Rahman at the central bank headquarters in the city.

The meeting discussed the expansion of Bangladesh's digital payment ecosystem, including the TKPAY platform, strengthening payment security and various issues of mutual interest.

Deputy Governors Dr Md Kabir Ahmed and Md Sarwar Hossain, along with senior officials of the central bank's Payment Systems Department, were present at the meeting.
