DHAKA, July 30, 2026 (BSS) — Bangladesh received US$2.707 billion in workers' remittances during the first 29 days of July 2026, marking an 18.9 percent increase compared to the US$2.276 billion received during the same period last year.
According to the latest data, expatriate Bangladeshis sent US$86 million in remittances on July 29 alone.
The steady rise in remittance inflows reflects continued strong contributions from Bangladeshi migrant workers abroad, providing important support to the country's foreign exchange reserves and the overall economy.
