to expand financing for microenterprises across the country.
The agreements will enable the participating banks and financial institution
to provide a total of Taka 2,800 crore in guaranteed loans to PKSF's partner
organisations during the 2026-27 fiscal year for financing microenterprises,

Speaking at the signing ceremony held at PKSF Bhaban-1 in Agargaon, PKSF

people into entrepreneurs.
Under the scheme, he said, PKSF's partner organisations will borrow funds
from banks and disburse them to microentrepreneurs, while PKSF will provide
the credit guarantee.
"The close monitoring by PKSF will ensure the proper utilisation of the
loans," he said, adding that the CES would play an important role in
channelling banking sector funds to small and medium entrepreneurs and
marginalised communities, thereby promoting inclusive and equitable economic
growth.
On behalf of PKSF, Deputy MD Muhammad Hasan Khaled signed the agreements,
while the managing directors and deputy managing directors of the respective
banks and financial institution signed on behalf of their respective
organisations.
PKSF formally launched the Credit Enhancement Scheme on July 1, 2025. During
