DHAKA, June 18, 2026 (BSS) - The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) today unveiled a coffee table book titled "ICAB Coffee Table Book: Legacy in Motion", highlighting the institute's journey, achievements and contributions to the accountancy profession in Bangladesh.

The publication was unveiled at a ceremony held at the ICAB Auditorium at CA Bhaban in the capital's Kawran Bazar, said a press release.

ICAB President N K A Mobin unveiled the cover of the book, describing it as a reflection of the institute's proud heritage, professional excellence and commitment to serving the public interest.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the publication captures the milestones that have shaped ICAB and inspires future generations of chartered accountants to uphold the highest standards of integrity, competence and leadership.

The unveiling ceremony was attended by ICAB vice presidents, council members, past presidents, distinguished members and invited guests.

Chairman of the Editorial Board and ICAB Council Member Ala Uddin highlighted the institute's role in advancing the accountancy profession and contributing to the national economy.

According to ICAB, the coffee table book celebrates the institute's enduring legacy by showcasing the people, achievements and transformative initiatives that have strengthened the profession over the decades. 

The publication reflects ICAB's journey of excellence and its future vision under the theme "Legacy in Motion."

The programme began with a welcome address by Mohammad Moin Uddin Riad, Convener of the Members Affairs Committee of ICAB, while former ICAB President Parveen Mahmud also addressed the gathering.

Featuring stories, photographs and archival materials, the publication serves as both a historical record and an inspirational account of ICAB's development since its establishment, highlighting its leadership, achievements and contributions to nation-building.

On the occasion, ICAB also inaugurated a series of strategic digital transformation initiatives aimed at modernizing its services and operations.

The initiatives include infrastructure modernization, the CA Connect mobile application, Professional Clearance Automation system "ClearPath", an upgraded Document Verification System (DVS), Student Registration Automation platform "Smart Enroll", Professional Experience Record Portal "Experience Hub" and the automated Continuing Professional Development platform "CPD 360".
