TOKYO, June 15, 2026 (BSS/AFP) - Japan's Nikkei index jumped over four percent Monday after the United States and Iran reached an agreement to end the war in the Middle East.

At around 0015 GMT the Nikkei 225 was up 4.21 percent, while South Korea's benchmark Kospi index soared 4.97 percent.
