BCCCI inks MoU with Miup Bangladesh, Ship International Hospital 

DHAKA, May 24, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Miup Bangladesh Company Limited to provide structured healthcare and medical support services for BCCCI members and affiliated companies in collaboration with Ship International Hospital.

The agreement was signed on Saturday at the BCCCI office in the city, marking a new initiative aimed at improving healthcare accessibility and corporate medical support for the business community, said a press release today.

Under the partnership, Miup Bangladesh - a Japanese laboratory and healthcare service provider operating in collaboration with Ship International Hospital in Uttara - will offer specialized pathological and clinical support services to BCCCI members, their companies and employees.

As part of the MoU, beneficiaries will receive several healthcare benefits and discounts subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement.

 These include a 20 percent discount on health check-up packages provided by Miup Bangladesh, along with 20 percent discounts on doctor consultations, hospital bed services and imaging tests at Ship International Hospital. 

In addition, a 10 percent discount on surgical services offered by the hospital will also be available for eligible members.

Officials concerned said the initiative is expected to enhance access to quality healthcare services for business professionals and employees working in companies affiliated with the chamber.

The signing ceremony was attended by BCCCI President Mohd. Khorshed Alam and Yutaro Yokokawa, representative of Miup Bangladesh Company Limited.

Senior leaders of BCCCI, including the Secretary General, Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents and Directors, were also present at the event alongside representatives from both organizations.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening healthcare support services for the business community and promoting institutional cooperation in Bangladesh's healthcare sector, according to officials present at the ceremony.
