DHAKA, Jan 13, 2026 (BSS) – The ‘25th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2026 – Winter Edition’ is scheduled to begin on January 28, providing a major boost to Bangladesh’s textile and garment sector.
Jointly organized by CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT-Tex China, the four-day international exhibition will be held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the city.
Running concurrently with this event is the "8th Dhaka International Denim Show 2026". Both exhibitions will remain open to visitors daily from 10am to 7pm until January 31.
The event is set to host approximately 230 companies from over 15 countries, featuring more than 250 booths.
During a press conference held today at the Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon, organizers highlighted that the show serves as a vital international platform for buyers and suppliers of yarn, fabric, denim, trims, and accessories.
As the world's second-largest garment exporter, Bangladesh relies heavily on such exhibitions to maintain its competitive edge.
Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS-Global USA & Asia Pacific, emphasized that the show facilitates direct communication for business expansion and plays a crucial role in advancing the textile industry and increasing Ready-Made Garment (RMG) exports.
This year’s exhibition marks the 9th anniversary of the joint venture between CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT-Tex China.
The press conference saw participation from key officials, including Chen Bo, Secretary General of CCPIT-Tex, and Deputy Director Wu Zhizhen, who joined via video conference from Beijing.
The exhibition will be open to relevant visitors upon registration. This event is expected to be a cornerstone for networking and sourcing within the global textile supply chain.
