CHATTOGRAM, Oct 27, 2025 (BSS)- The weekly tea sale was supported by the mainstay of the market, benefiting all varieties. However, there was lower activity from loose tea buyers this week, leading to reduced competition. Demand for the reprinted section of the market remained limited, with higher withdrawals.
CTC LEAF: 49,421 packages of tea on offer met with a good demand.
BROKENS: Well made good liquoring Brokens were a strong market and were generally firm. Medium varieties were a good market and also sold at around last levels.
Plainer teas met with a little less demand and were slightly easier with more withdrawals. BLF teas continued to meet with a strong market at fully firm levels with fewer withdrawals.
FANNINGS: Well made good liquoring Fannings were a fairly good market and were about steady over last. Medium varieties met with a good demand at around last levels.

DUST: 9,462 packages of tea on offer met with quite a strong demand. Good liquoring Dusts were fully firm to slightly dearer market. Their Mediums sold well at around last levels closely following quality. Plain/BLF Dusts met with better demand and saw only a few withdrawals. Blenders lent strong support with fair interest from the loose tea buyers.
