BEIJING, Sept 8, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - China's exports expanded 4.4 percent year-on-year in August, official data showed Monday, as the world's second-largest economy navigated an uneasy trade war truce with the United States.
The increase in overseas shipments last month fell below a Bloomberg forecast of 5.5 percent growth, and imports similarly did not meet expectations, growing 1.3 percent year-on-year in August, lower than the forecast 3.4 percent.
