DHAKA, Oct 19, 2022 (BSS)- Ajgor Munshi Smrity Sangsad take on Noujowan Club in the final match of Sheikh Russel 2nd Division Handball League scheduled to be held tomorrow (Thursday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city.

The match kicks off at 3 pm.

Bangladesh Handball Federation's president AKM Nurul Fazle Bulbul will be the chief guest in the final and distribute the prizes.

Meanwhile, in the day's match, Joykali Mondir Jubo Sangha finished 9th position in the league defeating Rajdhani Sporting Club by 23-20 goals after leading the first half by 15-7 goals. Rajdhani Sporting Club finished 10th position in the competition.

While South Points Sports Club finished 11th position in the league beating Dhaka Sabuj Club by 17-15 goals after dominating the first half by 10-7 goals. Dhaka Sabuj Club finished 12th position in the league.

A total of twelve metropolis clubs, split into two groups, are taking part in the meet, organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation.

Participating clubs:

Group A - South Point Sports Club, Joykali Mandir Jubo Sangha, Narinda Jagoron Sports Club, Singna Sangha, Ajgar Munshi Smrity Sangsad and Aditi International.

Group B - Maniknagar Jubo Sangha, Nabadwip Sangha, Sports Enterprise, Noujowan Club, Dhaka Sabuj Club and Rajdhahni Sports Club.
