RANGPUR, March 12, 2022 (BSS) - The two-day "Purba Limited Cup Golf
Tournament -2022" was inaugurated at a colorful ceremony on the Rangpur Golf
and Country Club (RGCC) ground on the outskirts of the city today.
 
The tournament is being sponsored by The Purba Limited, a press release of
RGCC said.
 
Around 100 contestants of different Golf Clubs from the country are
participating in the male, female, junior and sub-junior groups of the
tournament.
 
Rangpur Area Commander, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 66 Infantry
Division and President of RGCC Major General Md Faizur Rahman formally
inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest.
 
Chairman of The Purba Limited Group Captain (Retd) Abu Zafar Chowdhury,
Advisors and Directors of the Dhaka Mercantile Co-operative Bank Limited,
high ranking military and RGCC officials and civilian guests attended the
ceremony.
