Ziaur still maintains solo lead

 DHAKA. Feb 10, 2022 (BSS) - GM Ziaur Rahman of Bangladesh Police still

maintained his solo lead in the points table with maximum six points after
the sixth round games of the Al Mahmud Memorial Probashi FIDE Master Rating
Chess Tournament now being held at the National Sports Council old building
in the city.

  CM Nayem Haque is in second position with 5.5 points.  

  Five players are sharing the third position with five points.  

  They are FM Subrota Biswas, FM Sheikh Nasir Ahmed, Anaya Choudhury, Abzid
Rahman and Arpan Das (Jr) of India.  

  Thirteen players are sharing fourth position with 4.5 points.  

  They are IM Mohammad Minhaz Uddin, IM Abu Sufian Shakil, FM Syed Mahfuzur
Rahman, CM Tahsin Tajwar Zia, CM Md Sharif Hossain, CM Manon Reja Neer, CM
Sadnan Hasan Dihan, CM Ikramul Haq Siam, CM Shawket Bin Osman Shaon, Moh
Shahinur Hossain, Indian Priyanshu Barua, Ankit Ray and Mrittika Mallick.  

  In the day's sixth round matches held today (Thursday) , Abzid beat GM
Mollah Abdullah Rakib, GM Zia beat CM Siam, CM Nayem beat IM Shakil, CM Dihan
drew with CM Tahsin, Arpan beat FM Mehdi Hasan Parag, FM Mahfuz drew with CM
Sharif, FM Subrota beat Sakline Mostafa Sajid, Anata beat CM Sohel Chowdhury,
FM Nasir beat Yasir Ali Khan Evan, IM Minhaz beat Siddiqur Rahman, CM Neer
beat Gias Uddin Ahmed, Ankit beat Chanchal Kumer Ghosh, CM Shaon beat Dil
Mohammad, Mrittika beat CM Mahtabuddin Ahmed, Shahinur beat Swarnavo
Choudhury and Priyanshu got walk-over against Mohammad Aminul Islam.
