Meanwhile, in the remaining two first round matches to be held on Saturday (Feb 5) with Chittagong Abahani Limited will play against traditional old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj while Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited face Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited at Shaheed Ahsanullah Master Stadium in Tongi.

All the first round matches will kick off at 3 pm.

Meanwhile, according to the latest decision made by the professional league management committee’s meeting held on Tuesday last night, the league will be now played at two venues instead of three as it was decided earlier.

Bashundhara Kings' own ground Bashundhara Kings Arena has been dropped from the list of latest venues. The league matches now will be held at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj and Shaheed Ahsanullah Master Stadium in Tongi.

Earlier, in an emergency meeting held Saturday last, the professional league management committee decided to stage the BPL matches at four venues. After two days, the league committee again reduced the venue to three instead of that decision because BFF did not get the allocation of Bangladesh Army Stadium to use for BPL.

Finally, at another emergency meeting held on Tuesday last night, the venue was reduced to two.
