DHAKA, Aug 31, 2026 (BSS)- The Bangladesh U-20 men's and women's teams have 
completed their first training sessions today (Monday) in Moqi, China ahead 
of the U-20 Junior Asia Cup Hockey Tournament. 

Following the opening day's training, players from both Bangladesh teams 
expressed satisfaction with their accommodation, the main venue and the 
available training facilities.
 
However, they remain somewhat concerned about the weather conditions at the 
venue ahead of the tournament. 

The players are making every effort to quickly adapt to the cold weather 
there and adjust themselves fully to the conditions. 

Despite the challenges, everyone in the teams remains mentally upbeat and 
fully confident of making a positive and strong start to the tournament.

Both the U-20 men's and women's teams have travelled from Bangladesh to 
represent the red and green in the mega tournament, which is scheduled to 
begin on September 4. 

The main objective of both teams is to strengthen their position on the world 
stage by achieving a good result in the tournament.
