DHAKA, Jan 29, 2022 (BSS)—The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 tournament saw six hat-tricks so far after Chattogram Challengers pacer Mrittunjoy became the latest cricketer who added his name to the list.

Mrittunjoy slammed the hat-trick against Sylhet Sunrisers and helped his side to win the high-scoring game by 16 runs.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Sami was the first bowler in BPL to slam a hat-trick in the first edition in 2012. So far three overseas players and three Bangladeshi players achieved the feat in BPL’s eight season. The first three hat-tricks were registered in Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur and the last three were recorded at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
