DHAKA, July 29, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh's International Master Manon Reza Neer shared lead along with other four players in the Six Days July 2026 (GM-B) chess tournament which is now being held in Budapest, Hungary.
Neer bagged 1.5 points from the first two rounds.
In the first round, IM Neer defeated FIDE Master Lucius Melillo of the United States while in the second round, he split point with FIDE Master Aarav Sinha of India.
The tournament features 10 players from Bangladesh, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Serbia, Slovakia, and the United States, including three Grandmasters, one Woman Grandmaster, three International Masters, and equal number of FIDE Masters.
