DHAKA, July 25, 2026 (BSS)-International Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Bangladesh conceded defeat to Kazakhstan's Grandmaster Denis Makhnev in the fourth round of Oskemen Open 2026 Masters Chess tournament which is now being held in Oskemen, Kazakhstan.

After the fourth round, Fahad has secured two points from four matches.

Earlier, in the third round, he defeated host rival Candidate Master Nurassyl Primbetov.

The Masters event has attracted seventy seven players from fifteen countries, including twenty two Grandmasters, one Woman Grandmaster and twenty nine International Masters.
