DHAKA, July 20, 2026 (BSS)- Bangladesh International Master Manon Reja Neer split point with his India's rival FIDE Master Vaibhav Jayant Raut in the 
second round of Farago Ivan Memorial Grandmasters Chess tournament held today (Monday) in Budapest, Hungary. 

After the completion of the second round, IM Neer has collected 1.5 points from two games and shared lead in the points table along with two other 
players.

The round-robin league tournament features ten players from Bangladesh, Belgium, Hungary, India, the Netherlands, Serbia, Chinese Taipei and the 
United States, including three Grandmasters, five International Masters and two FIDE Masters.

Earlier, in the first round held on Sunday last, he made a auspicious start by defeating India's FIDE Master Binu Devdutt.
