Norway drop Haaland, France make changes for World Cup clash

FOXBOROUGH, June 27, 2026 (BSS/AFP) - France have made four changes to their lineup for their final group game against Norway on Friday, who have left forward Erling Haaland on the bench.

Defenders Maxence Lacroix and Theo Hernandez as well as midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni and forward Desire Doue will all start.

France though are lining up with their first-choice attacking trio of Kylian Mbappe, Michael Olise and Ousmane Dembele.

The team will be led by assistant coach Guy Stephan in place of Didier Deschamps, who has returned to France following the death of his mother.

France and Norway both need a win to top Group I.
