DHAKA, June 20, 2026 (BSS)-FIDE Master Tahsin Tajwar Zia of Bangladesh beat his Serbian rival Leonid Ivanovic in the fifth round of Belgrade GM Swiss Mix Chess Tournament, currently underway in Belgrade, Serbia.

In the fifth-round game, played on Friday last with Tahsin registered an impressive victory and secured three points from five matches.

Earlier, in the fourth-round game, he shared the point with Kush Devnani of India after the match ended in a draw.
