DHAKA, April 11, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh's fast bowling duo, Nahid Rana and
Mustafizur Rahman, showcased their skills in a thrilling Pakistan Super
League (PSL) contest, as they went head-to-head for their respective teams.
However, it was Nahid's Peshawar Zalmi that emerged victorious, crushing
Mustafizur's Lahore Qalandars by 76 runs at the National Stadium in Karachi
today.
Both bowlers made significant contributions with the ball, each taking two
wickets in a solid display of their bowling prowess.
Peshawar Zalmi, opting to bat first, posted a competitive total of 173-7.
Sri Lankan recruit Kusal Mendis led the charge with a blistering 74 off 48
balls, anchoring the innings laced with five fours and four sixes.
Lahore Qalandars' captain Shaheen Shah Afridi was the standout bowler for his
side, picking up 3-22.
Mustafizur Rahman, as expected, was a key performer in the death overs,
restricting Zalmi from posting a total above 200 as he finished with 2-30.
In response, Lahore Qalandars' batting lineup crumbled under pressure,
managing a meager total of 97 all out in just 17 overs.
Nahid Rana, who had been in superb form with a match-winning performance of
4-0-7-3 against Karachi Kings in the previous fixture, continued his
exceptional form with figures of 2-15 in this game.
Alongside him, Michael Bracewell and Sufiyan Muqeem also shone with the ball,
both taking three wickets apiece to seal a dominant win for Peshwar.
