DHAKA, March 31, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh U-20 women's national team will start
their AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup campaign when they face host Thailand in
their opening group A match scheduled to be held at Thammasat Stadium in
Bangkok tomorrow (Wednesday).
The match kicks off at 7 pm BST.
Ahead of their opening match against Thailand, Bangladesh successfully
completed their third and final official training session at Alpine training
camp (Pitch 2), according to a message received here from Bangladesh Football
Federation (BFF) here today (Tuesday).
The session included warm-ups, technical drills, possession-based exercises
and set-piece routines. The coaching staff, led by head coach Peter Butler,
worked closely with the players to simulate match situations both in and out
of possession, focusing on tactical awareness and decision-making.
Bangladesh U-20 women's national team, which pitted in group A along with
host Thailand, China and Vietnam, will play their remaining group matches
against China and Vietnam on April 4 and 7 respectively.
