DHAKA, March 25, 2026 (BSS) - State Minister for Youth and Sports Md. Aminul Haque has greeted the Bangladesh archery team for reaching to the compound men's team event final of the ongoing Asia Cup Archery Tournament (Stage-1) now being held in Bangkok, Thailand.
In the semi-final held today (Wednesday), Bangladesh team defeated Bhutan by 232-228 points to enter the final. With this victory, Bangladesh team won the silver medal.
In a congratulatory message, the State Minister said: "This consistent success of our archers is a source of great pride for the country's sports. By defeating Bhutan and reaching the final, they have proven that Bangladesh is a strong opponent on the world stage in archery.”

Bangladesh will face Vietnam in the gold-deciding match on Friday. Wishing the red-green representatives all the best in this important match, the State Minister expressed hope that the Bangladesh team would show their best skills and defeat Vietnam to snatch the gold medal for the country.
