DHAKA, March 24, 2026 (BSS)-State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque today greeted all the players, coaches and concerned officials of the Bangladesh U-20 football team on their remarkable 2-0 victory over Pakistan in the SAFF U-20 Championship.

In a congratulatory message, the State Minister said, "Our emphatic victory over Pakistan at the start of the SAFF Under-20 Football Championship is a proud moment for the country. The performance of Ronan Sullivan, in particular, in scoring a brace on his debut, is truly admirable.”

He further said, "This victory is a glorious moment for the country. Their outstanding achievement will take the country's football one step further. Their indomitable spirit inspires us." 

The State Minister also hoped that the team would do better in the future and bring more glory to the country.

Aminul also hoped that the team would maintain winning streak in the next matches of the tournament.
