DHAKA, March 13, 2026 (BSS)- Old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society blanked Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club by 3-0 goals in Bangladesh Football League (BFL) held at Birshreshtha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj today (Friday).
In the day’s match, Gambian midfielder Solomon King Kanform, forward Rafiqul Islam and Ghanaian forward Ernest Boateng scored one goal each for Rahmatganj who led the first half by 1-0 goal.
Solomon opened an account scoring the first goal for Rahmatganj in the 39th minute while after the breather Rafiqul doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 72nd minute of the match.
Boateng completed the winners’ tally scoring the third goal in the 84th minte of the match.
The day’s win saw old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj move to third position in the league table with 18 points from 11 matches while Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club remained with their previous collection of 10 points playing the same number of matches.
In the remaining eleventh round matches tomorrow (Saturday), Brothers Union will play against Abahani Limited Dhaka at Birshreshtha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium, PWD SC meet Arambagh Krira Sangha at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur and Fortis Football Club face Bashundhara Kings at Bashundhara Kings Arena in the capital.
