DHAKA, March 10, 2026 (BSS) - Lakshmipur Under-17 District team edged past Cox’s Bazar Under-17 District team by 1-0 goal in a Karnaphuli zone match of the U-17 National Football Championship held at Bandarban district Stadium in Bandarban today .

After the barren first half, Rifat scored the all-important goal for Laksmipour in the 59th minute of the match. 

Rifat of Lakshmipur was named the player of the match for his impressive performance in the match. 

In the day’s another match Noakhali Under-17 District team split point with Feni Under-17 District team when their match ended in a tame goalless draw also held at the same venue.
