DHAKA, Jan 14, 2026 (BSS) - Dhaka and Panchagarh district handball reached the 
final of the TCL National Youth Men's Handball competition eliminating their 
respective rivals in the semifinals held at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali 
National Handball Stadium in the capital today (Wednesday).

The final will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at the same venue at 3 pm, 
following the place-deciding encounter between Kushtia and Jashore at 1 pm.
 
Competition Sponsor Tanvir Construction Limited managing director (MD) Tanvir 
Ahmed is expected to present in the final and distribute the prizes.

In the day's first semifinal, Panchagarh district beat Jashore district by 
37-18 goals after leading the first half by 17-6 goals in the first semifinal 
while Dhaka district defeated Kushtia district by 35-29 goals after 
dominating the first half by 17-15 goals.
