DHAKA, Dec 29, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh leg-spinner Rishad Hossain continues
his rich vein of form in Big Bash League, guiding his side Hobart Hurricanes
to a four-wicket win over Melbourne Renegades today at their home venue in
Bellerive Oval in Hobart.
In this match, Rishad picked up two wickets for 34 runs in four overs but as
usual gave the side an impetus in the middle overs, stifling Melbourne for
runs.
Skipper Nathan Ellis also dazzled, ending with 3-30 as Melbourne managed to
put up 162-9. Hobart, however, raced to the victory in 19 overs, reaching
163-6.
Matthew Wade led the charge in batting with 20 ball-43 not out.
Rishad so far took eight wickets in five matches, second highest behind Tom

The victory, however, propelled Hobart to second spot with eight points from
five matches.
