RAJSHAHI, Dec 22, 2025 (BSS)- Final match of the five-day inter-college 
football tournament was held amid high tension at Liberation War Memorial 
Stadium here this afternoon.

Top-ranking college teams from all eight districts of the division 
participated in the tournament, which was held on a knockout basis at two 
venues-- Rajshahi Freedom Fighters Memorial Stadium and the Government 
Physical Education College playground. 

In the tournament, organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Beelchalan 
Shaheed Shamsuzzoha Government College in Natore clinched the championship 
defeating Singra Damdama Pilot High School and College in the final match 2-0 
goals.

Additional Commissioner of Rajshahi Division Habibur Rahman accompanied by 
Additional Deputy Commissioner Sabur Ali, District Sports Officer Jahangir 
Hossain handed over trophies among the champion and runner-up teams 
respectively before a large number of football fans.
