DHAKA, Dec 11, 2025 (BCB)-The Dhaka First Division Cricket League 2025-26 is set to begin on December 14.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today released the fixtures for the opening two rounds. Champions and runners-up of the league will advance to the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) next season.

Twenty teams have been divided into two groups-Group A and Group B-to take part in the league. The matches will be held at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS), Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP), PKSP and the Silicon City Ground (SCG).

Group A consists of Partex Sporting Club, Gazi Tyres Cricket Academy, Amber Sporting Club, Bangladesh Police Cricket Club, Lalmatia Club, Dhanmondi Cricket Club, Old DOHS Sports Club, Kalabagan Krira Chakra, Dhaka United and Baridhara Dazzlers.

Group B includes Shinepukur Cricket Club, Uttara Cricket Club, Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samity, Sk. Jamal Cricketers, Surjotorun Club, Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club, Kakrail Boys Club, Tri State Cricketers, Orient Sporting Club and BKSP.

On the opening day, five Group A matches will take place. Partex Sporting Club will face Baridhara Dazzlers at PKSP-2; Gazi Tyres Cricket Academy will meet Dhaka United at BKSP-3; Amber Sporting Club will take on Kalabagan Krira Chakra at BKSP-4; Bangladesh Police Cricket Club will play Old DOHS Sports Club at SBNCS; and Lalmatia Club will meet Dhanmondi Cricket Club at the Silicon City Ground.

Group B will enter the competition the following day. Shinepukur Cricket Club will face BKSP; Uttara Cricket Club will take on Orient Sporting Club at BKSP-3; Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samity will meet Tri State Cricketers at SCG; Sk. Jamal Cricketers will face Kakrail Boys Club at PKSP-1; and Surjotorun Club will play Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club at BKSP-4.

After a rest day on December 16, Group A's second round will resume on December 17. Partex Sporting Club will meet Dhaka United at BKSP-3; Gazi Tyres Cricket Academy will face Kalabagan Krira Chakra at PKSP-1; Amber Sporting Club will take on Old DOHS Sports Club at BKSP-4; Bangladesh Police Cricket Club will face Dhanmondi Cricket Club at SCG; and Lalmatia Club will play Baridhara Dazzlers at PKSP-2.

Group B's second round will be held on December 18.
