DHAKA, Dec 11, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh under-19 captain Azizul Hakim Tamim is confident about his team's chances of claiming a third consecutive title in the Asia Cup.
Speaking during the official photo session and trophy unveiling ceremony in Dubai, Tamim highlighted the team's extensive preparation and readiness for the upcoming competition.
"Our preparation has been excellent, both mentally and physically. We've played over 30 matches, which has helped us get together as a team," Hakim said.
Bangladesh are aiming for a hat-trick of titles after winning the tournament in the last two editions. Hakim expressed that coming into the competition as defending champions gives the team a significant confidence boost.
"We have prepared well, and everything is in place. We were the champions last year, which serves as a confidence booster for us," he added. "We trust our process and will give our best effort this time as well."
While acknowledging the strength of teams like India and Pakistan, Hakim maintained that no team is unbeatable.
"India and Pakistan are strong teams, but in my view, no team is unbeatable," Hakim said.
Bangladesh will kick off their campaign against Afghanistan on Saturday at the ICC Academy Cricket Ground in Dubai.
