DHAKA, Dec 11, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP) signed a solar power installation agreement with TRIPAX Company held at BKSP, Savar today.

BKSP Director General Brigadier General Md. Munirul Islam and Tripax Company proprietor Iftekhar Hossain signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

As per the signed agreement, Tripax will install a total of 600 kW Rooftop Solow System (Opex Model) in five regional training centers of BKSP in Dinajpur, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet and Cox's Bazar as per the Net Metering Policy-2025 formulated by SREDA.

According to the Director General, using solar power as one of the main sources of affordable and renewable energy reduce greenhouse gas emissions. 

On the other hand, dependence on the existing traditional electricity system will also be greatly reduced, which will play an important role in ensuring a healthy and sustainable environment.

In addition the use of solar power will reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

The Director General thinks that this is a timely step towards building a pollution-free, sustainable and environmentally friendly society.
