DHAKA, Dec 2, 2025 (BSS) - The first half of the match between Bangladesh and 
Azerbaijan in the Tri Nation Series ended 1-1 draw held at National Stadium 
today (Wednesday).
 
Bangladesh started the match quite positively in the first 12 minutes 
creating opportunities but they failed to score any lack of proper finishing.

Azerbaijan took the lead in the 20th minute. Captain Jafarzada Sevinj sent 
the ball to the net with a stunning header from the top of the box.

Maria Manda brought Bangladesh in the match following a well-worked corner 
routine in the 34th minute. Sapna Rani floated a teasing delivery from the 
left and Azerbaijan custodian Sharifova Aytaj fisted the ball to clear, Maria 
Manda connected sweetly with a left footer shot that found the net directly 
giving no chance to Aytaj.
