DHAKA, Nov 29, 2025 (BSS) - FIDE Master Tahsin Tajwar Zia beat FM Vivan Mulay of USA in the fifth round of US Masters Chess Championship held in Hilton Charlotte University Place in North Carolina, USA today.

International Master Fahad Rahman also defeated Tineo Rodriguez Brain Jeremiah Tineo of Dominican Republic in the fifth round match.

After the fifth round matches, Zia bagged 3.5 points while International Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman earned three points.
