DHAKA, Nov 22, 2025 (BSS) - Marshall Ayub hit a ton to guide Dhaka to 246-7 on
Day 1 of the National Cricket League (NCL) fifth round game against Barishal
Division at Cox's Bazar Stadium today.
After opting to bat first, Dhaka were reduced to a precarious 18-3 before
Marhsall rescued the side. He hit an unbeaten 118 off 184 with 15 boundaries
and steered the side amid the regular strike of Barishal bowlers.
Marhsall shared a 135-run with Ashikur Rahman Shibili who made 64, to steady
the innings. However Shibli's departure triggered further collapse but
Marshall's composure helped the side saw off the day, shortened by bad light.
Sumon Khan was batting on 12 along with Marhsall at stumps.
Towhidul Islam Rasel picked up 3-42 for Barishal to wreck havoc on Dhaka
batting line up.
