DHAKA, Nov 14, 2025 (BSS) - A six-member Bangladesh tennis team will depart here for Bahrain tomorrow to participate in the Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Group-5 tennis tournament scheduled to be held in Isa Town, Bahrain from November 17-23.

The national men's teams of hosts Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei, Laos, Macau, Maldives, Myanmar, Northern Mariana Islands, Tajikistan, United Arab Emirates and Yemen will participate in the Davis Cup competition, organized by Bahrain Tennis Federation.

Ahead of the team's departure, the photo session of the Bangladesh team participating in the competition was held at the National Tennis Complex, Ramna today.

The Bangladesh tennis team is expected to return home on November 24.

Bangladesh tennis team: Tanvir Pasha (captain, Gulshan Club), Zarif Abrar (Cantonmenet officer club), Jubin Omar (Gulshan Club), Mohammad Rustam Ali (American Club), Md Emon (Tennis Club, Rajshahi) and Mohammad Bhuiyan (Uttara Club).
