DHAKA, Oct 15, 2025 (BSS)- Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Indoor Games (men's 
and women's), organised by DRU, will begin from Friday (October 17).

According to a press release, events for male members are chess, carrom 
(singles and doubles), auction bridge, call bridge (singles), athletics 
(200m), swimming, archery and shooting (subject to availability of rifle) 
while the women's events included carrom (singles), ludo and shooting 
(subject to availability of rifles).

Country's renowned organisation Vista Bangladesh sponsored the indoor games. 

On this occasion, a press conference was held at the Shafiqul Kabir 
Auditorium of DRU today (Wednesday) to provide all the details of the meet.

Director (Corporate Affairs and PR) of the sponsoring organisation Vista 
Bangladesh FM Iqbal-bin Anwar Don was present at the press conference.

DRU President Abu Saleh Akon presided over the event while its general 
secretary Mainul Hasan Sohel delivered the welcome speech.

DRU sports secretary Md. Mojibur Rahman conducted the press conference.

On behalf of the sponsoring organisation Vista, FM Iqbal-bin Anwar Don said: 
"The role of sports in developing the mental and physical health of 
journalists is undeniable. Vista will always support such initiatives."
