DHAKA, Nov 25, 2021 (BSS)- Bangabandhu National Championship football will
begin from December 3 marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, said a Bangladesh Football Federation
(BFF) press release.

   District Football Association teams, services teams (Bangladesh Army,
Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Air Force and Bangladesh Police) Bangladesh Krira
Shikkha Protishtan, and University and board team's under the BFF will take
part in the championship which will be held at sixty five venues across the
country.

   The zonal matches of the championship will be held at nine zonal venues
across the country in home and away basis. After the zonal phase, the winning
teams and the losing teams will take part in the cup and plate phases
respectively in home and way basis match.

   Each champion team of the zonal phase will participate in the final round
later stage.

   The BFF will provide Taka one lakh to each participating team in order to
organize as well as participate in the home and away basis match. The BFF
also provide conveyance allowance of Taka ten thousand for away match to
those teams who will qualify to the final of cup/plate of zonal phase.

   In this regards, a press conference was held at conference room of BFF to
provide all the details of the meet.

   BFF member and competitions committee's chairman Harunur Rashid, BFF
member and competitions committee's member Tipu Sultan, BFF member Elias
Hossain and BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag were present in the press
conference.
