DHAKA, July 14, 2025 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam Bulbul today held an extensive discussion session with key personnel from the Game Development Department, the High Performance (HP) Unit, the Bangladesh Tigers Programme and the Bangladesh A Team.
The session, held at the BCB headquarters in Mirpur, brought together coaches, trainers, physiotherapists and performance analysts actively involved in shaping the future of Bangladesh cricket through talent identification and structured player development, a BCB press release stated.
The BCB President laid emphasize on the importance of synergy across departments.
"The strength of our cricketing future lies in how well we align our efforts in developing talent," the BCB chief said. "Today's session was a critical step towards enhancing coordination and efficiency in our High Performance and development pathways."
The discussion focused on several key areas central to BCB's long-term performance vision, including strategies for talent identification and nurturing high-potential players, setting measurable goals, designing and implementing performance programmes, and the role of analytical research and feedback in continuous improvement.
The framework and governance structure of the High Performance calendar were also touched upon with a view to optimizing scheduling, development goals, resource allocation and player workload management.
"It is vital that we continue to build on this momentum with clear goals, data-driven insights and a unified vision," the BCB boss said.
BCB Vice-president Nazmul Abedeen was also present and contributed to the exchange of ideas.
