DHAKA, June 14, 2025 (BSS)-Fast bowler Taskin Ahmed seemed to have relied on
process to be fit to play the white-ball series in Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh are currently on Sri Lanka tour, which will kick off with two-
match Test series. The fast bowler, who has been in rehab following issues
with his Achilles tendon, had already missed the Test series.
But there was expectation that he will play the ODI or T20 series in the
tour.
Taskin has already started bowling and kept the belief that he would gain the
match fitness as quick as it is possible.
A recent post on his verified facebook post suggested so.
"Process never betrays," he wrote in the caption of a photo of his gym
session.
The ODI series in Sri Lanka starts on July 2 while the T20 series begins form
July 10.
"Taskin has improved but it's difficult to say (whether he can play the
white-ball series)," BCB's chief physician Debashis Chowdhury told the
reporters.
"He starts bowling. He is trying his best. But it is difficult to say what
will happen in the next week."
