KANDY, Sri Lanka, Sept 2, 2023 (BSS/AFP) - Rain has halted play in the blockbuster Asia Cup clash between India and Pakistan in Pallekele on Saturday.

India were 15-0 in 4.2 overs after opting to bat first following a morning of intermittent showers in the 50-over tournament, a prelude to the ODI World Cup in India.

Skipper Rohit Sharma, on 11, and opening partner Shubman Gill, on nought, were at the crease.
