
DHAKA, April 25, 2023 (BSS) - West Indies A team is set to visit Bangladesh for a three-match four-day Test series in next month, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has revealed recently.
The West Indies team will arrive in Bangladesh on May 11, but the Windies will head to Sylhet directly from the Hazrat Shahjala International Airport, Dhaka.
All of the matches of the series in fact will be held at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (SICS) with the first match beginning from May 16.
The second match is from May 23-26 at outer stadium of the SICS while the series ending game from May 30- June 2 at the main venue of SICS.
The Caribbean team will leave Bangladesh on June 3.
This is however the return tour of the West Indies after Bangladesh visited the Caribbean Island in August last year. Bangladesh played two four-day Test matches and three one-day there. While the two four-dayer were drawn, the one-day series was locked at 1-1 after a game was washed out due to rain.
