DHAKA, Sept 11, 2026 (BSS)- The meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee to determine the sighting of the moon marking the beginning of the holy month of Rabius Sani in Hijri 1448 will be held tomorrow.

The Islamic Foundation's Public Relations Division disclosed the information in a press release here today.

According to the release, the meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held at 6:45pm tomorrow [Saturday], after Maghrib prayers at the Baitul Mukarram meeting room of the Islamic Foundation to review reports of the sighting of the moon of Rabius Sani and take a decision in this regard.

Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Houssain (Kaikobad) will chair the meeting.
