RAJSHAHI, Aug 31, 2026 (BSS)- Administrator of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Mahfuzur Rahman Riton inspected tree maintenance and cleanliness activities on the road dividers of Rajshahi city.

Today, he inspected these ongoing activities on the road dividers of various roads in the city, instructing them to continue cleanliness and greening activities regularly and properly.

Workers of the Environment Branch of RCC were working on tree maintenance, weed cleaning and waste removal on the road dividers as part of their regular activities at the time.

During the sudden inspection of the ongoing activities, the Administrator observed the progress of the workers' work and inquired about the city's greening and cleanliness activities.

The Administrator emphasized regular maintenance of the trees on the road dividers for the beauty and environmental protection of the city.

He also instructed the concerned workers to continue cleanliness activities, including weed cleaning and waste removal, properly.

He said there is no alternative to regular maintenance to build a clean and green city. The plants on the road dividers not only enhance the beauty of the city but also play an important role in maintaining environmental balance. Therefore, work on these activities must be done responsibly.

Those concerned hope that the ongoing activities of the Environment Branch will be further accelerated by the sudden inspection of the RCC Administrator.

The Administrator also inspected the drain sludge removal operation this morning. He inspected the drain sludge extraction activities of the cleaning workers in the Sheikhpara area.

As part of the regular activities of the cleaning workers at the ward level, they were removing mud and sludge from the drains. The RCC Administrator suddenly inspected the operation and gave instructions to continue the cleaning activities properly.
