DHAKA, Aug 25, 2026 (BSS) - US-Bangla Airlines will resume flights on the Dhaka-Jashore route from September 9, operating six weekly flights to meet growing travel demand from people in the greater Jashore region.

The private carrier will operate two flights a day on Saturdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays using 72-seat ATR 72-600 aircraft, according to a press release issued by the airline.

The decision to restore the route was taken considering longstanding demand from passengers in greater Jashore and the need for faster and more convenient air connectivity with the capital, it added. 

Under the new schedule, the first flight will depart Dhaka at 9:30 am and arrive in Jashore at 10:15 am on each operating day.

The return flight will leave Jashore at 10:45 am and land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 11:30 am.

The second flight will leave Dhaka at 4:45 pm and arrive in Jashore at 5:30 pm while it will depart Jashore at 6 pm and reach Dhaka at 6:45 pm.

The airline said the resumption of the service takes into account travel demand generated by business and commerce, healthcare, education and tourism, alongside the need for faster connectivity for people in the greater Jashore region.

It will also consider increasing frequencies on the route in the future depending on passenger demand and market conditions.

The airline currently operates domestic services from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar, Chattogram, Sylhet, Saidpur and Rajshahi.
