DHAKA, Aug 23, 2026 (BSS) - Detective Branch (DB) of Police in Gulshan Division under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 22 people including 18 women and four men from a spa centre in the area last night for their alleged involvement in immoral activities.

According to the DMP's media and public relations division press release issued here today, saying that the special raid was conducted around 8:00pm and 9:30pm last night at "Diamond Saloon and Spa" at Palladium Market (often locally referred with Platinum market) under Gulshan Police Station.

It said the 22 people were arrested for allegedly engaging in immoral activities at the establishments.

The DMP said that they were produced before a Dhaka court after taking necessary legal proceedings.

Police will continue its drives against such activities to bring crime under control, it added.
