DHAKA, Aug 16, 2026 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Mirpur Division arrested 122 people during regular anti-crime drives in different areas of the capital on Saturday.

According to a DMP press release, the arrests were made in areas under Mirpur, Shah Ali, Pallabi, Kafrul, Darus Salam, Rupnagar and Bhashantek police stations.

Of the total, Mirpur police arrested 41 people, Shah Ali 13, Pallabi 20, Kafrul one, Darus Salam nine, Rupnagar 27 and Bhashantek 11. The arrested were sent to court.
